General Information

Instruments are available to use only during the academic year (entire year, semester, or short-term). There are no instrument rentals allowed over the summer break.

Students do not need to be a member of an S&T ensemble to use a university instrument, but priority of rental will be to:

  1. Students in faculty-led ensembles
  2. Students in a student-led ensemble
  3. Students using an instrument for other needs (ex: personal practice)

Saxophones (soprano, alto, tenor, bari)

*Marching instruments are only to be used for Marching Band, Pep Band and Winter Drumline.

**Except for marching battery, percussion instruments are not checked out to individuals.

Renting an Instrument

To rent an instrument, please first read the Instrument Rental Policy and then fill out the Instrument Rental Request.

After submitting your request, you will receive an e-mail with further instructions on submitting your “Instrument Usage Contract” and completing the rental process.
